Lisbon LIS: What to Do on a Layover

Getting from the airport
LIS to city center: 58 minutes by bus (Lisboa (Campo Grande) | Circular via Sacavém). Trains run every 19 minutes. Service runs 05:00 to 23:30. Skip the taxi unless your connection is under 5 hours.
What to do in Lisbon
The stops worth making: Alfama district, Belém Tower, Pastéis de Nata, Fado music. Rated above 4.4: Castelo de São Jorge (4.5), Praça do Comércio (4.7), LX Factory (4.5), Lisbon Cathedral (4.4), Praça Marquês de Pombal (4.6). You do not need the full tourist circuit. Pick two and commit.
