Gwangjang Market in 5 hours: bindaetteok, silk alley, oldest market in Korea. ICN is worth leaving the terminal.

Getting from the airport

What to do in Seoul

The stops worth making: Korean BBQ, DMZ tour, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Myeongdong street food. Rated above 4.4: Gyeongbokgung Palace (4.6), N Seoul Tower (4.5), Bukchon Hanok Village (4.4), Hongdae Street (4.5), Myeongdong Shopping Street (4.4). You do not need the full tourist circuit. How long do you need

The minimum useful layover is 5 hours. That gives you 43 minutes in each direction plus about 124 minutes on the ground. Up to 72 hours is a proper overnight.

ICN airport

ICN has 18 lounges. For short connections under 4 hours, the terminal is the destination — food options, showers, and enough space to reset before the next leg.
