1. About layover.ing™

layover.ing™ is a travel discovery platform operated by LayoverHQ, LC (“Company”, “we”, “us”). We help travelers compare direct and layover flight options, score layover cities via LayoverScore™, and discover what to do during connections.

2. Use of the platform

You may use layover.ing™ for personal, non-commercial travel research. You may not scrape, reproduce, or redistribute our content or scoring data without written permission.

3. Flight and pricing data

Flight prices and availability shown on layover.ing™ are sourced from third-party flight data providers in real time. Prices are indicative only and may change between search and booking. The final price shown at checkout before you submit passenger details is the price you will be charged by the booking partner. We are not responsible for price changes after you leave our site.

4. Bookings and merchant of record

When you book through layover.ing™, your booking contract is with the booking partner (such as Kiwi.com or the relevant airline) — not with LayoverHQ, LC. LayoverHQ, LC is not the merchant of record for airfare. Payment is processed on the booking partner's platform. Refunds, cancellations, and post-booking support are governed by the booking partner's terms.

We may receive a commission when you complete a booking through our platform. This does not affect the price you pay and does not influence our LayoverScore™ rankings.

5. Paid features (LayoverPass)

Certain features require a paid subscription (“LayoverPass”). Subscriptions are billed via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for unused subscription time except where required by law.

6. LayoverScore™

LayoverScore™ is a proprietary scoring system. Scores reflect layover quality based on transit time, visa accessibility, available activities, and airport conditions. Scores are not personal recommendations. They are subject to change as data is updated.

7. Visa and travel information

Visa and entry requirement information is provided for general guidance only. Requirements change without notice. Always verify with the relevant embassy or official government source before traveling. LayoverHQ, LC is not liable for travel disruptions arising from visa or entry requirement changes.

8. Limitation of liability

layover.ing™ is provided “as is”. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of the information provided. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LayoverHQ, LC is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including missed flights, visa denials, or booking errors made by third-party partners.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, on an individual (not class-action) basis, in Atlanta, Georgia. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first use by emailing legal@layover.ing.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of layover.ing™ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
